What weight dumbbells should I use​?

The weight will depend on your endurance and level. For beginners, it’s recommended to start with lighter weights to master form and avoid injuries, and gradually increase weight.

Women typically start around 2–5 kg and men around 5–10 kg.

How to use dumbbells correctly?

Choose a weight that is comfortable but challenging; you should be able to perform 10–15 reps with effort. If it feels too easy, increase the weight.

Keep your elbows slightly bent, wrists straight, and avoid locking your joints. Perform each movement slowly and with control, pausing at the top and bottom of each rep. Final tip: breathe out during exertion (lifting/pushing) and breathe in on the return (lowering).
