The Ultra 1 Reformer is built to feel like a studio reformer without the fuss. Resistance is adjusted by push button in 5kg (11lb) increments, so there’s no stopping mid-session to change springs. The springs are enclosed, and engaging all of them locks the carriage in place between sessions, which is a useful safety feature in a shared home.
The enclosed spine doubles as a stable balance beam, so you can do more exercises on it. The stainless steel glide tracks give a smooth, virtually silent carriage glide, which suits a focused practice at home.
The 24" HD touchscreen tilts for both on-reformer and off-reformer workouts. It gives you access to iFIT’s library of instructor-led sessions, from classical precision work to high-intensity sculpting. Smart Spine precision tracking gives live feedback on power output, stroke rate and estimated calories, so you can see how your form is going.
Allow at least 48cm (19") of clear space around the reformer for a full range of movement. One thing to know before you buy: full content and features need a paid iFIT Pro subscription and WiFi. The reformer works without one, but the connected experience is the main selling point.
